Download

XChat is free, and it is only available through official app stores. There is no official APK download, no "Pro" version, and no Windows installer. If any site offers you a direct XChat download, it is not legitimate — security outlets have repeatedly warned that fake "XChat APK" files are phishing tools and malware.

Official Sources

• Android: Google Play Store — search "XChat" and verify the developer is X Corp.
• iPhone/iPad: Apple App Store — XChat launched here first in April 2026.

Use the button below to open the Google Play Store, then search for XChat yourself and check the developer name before installing. (We link to the store itself rather than a specific listing so you always land on the genuine, current page.)

Before You Install

• XChat is free with no in-app purchases — never pay for it or for "early access."
• You sign in with your X account (no phone number needed). Enable two-step verification on X first.
• Never enable "install from unknown sources" for XChat. That prompt is the hallmark of a scam.
• There is no official PC or web version. Treat "XChat for Windows" downloads as malicious.
